About Us

Frederick “Fred” Henry

In 2025, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. After careful consideration, I chose to undergo the RALP (robotic-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy) procedure in February of that year. Looking back, I realized that my long-standing commitment to physical wellness—particularly as an avid Pickleball player and Tai Chi practitioner—had unknowingly prepared me for the fight ahead.
My recovery was also shaped by the discipline and resilience I developed over more than 30 years of military service, retiring as a Brigadier General, and through my leadership roles in industry. Throughout my career, I learned the importance of preparation, adaptability, and supporting others through moments of uncertainty. These experiences helped guide me through my diagnosis, treatment, and recovery—reinforcing that strength comes from both physical readiness and mental resolve.

Why The BrightPath Foundation

I founded The BrightPath Foundation to serve as a wellness ecosystem designed to support lifestyle transformations. The Foundation will work with various wellness partners to host and promote a diverse range of wellness clinics and events such as pickleball, tai chi, brisk walking, strength training, etc.  In addition, the Foundation aims to leverage partner-produced videos—or create new educational content—to support pelvic floor exercises for men, provide nutritional tips, and expand access to reliable wellness guidance tailored to cancer survivors and those seeking to reduce their health risks.
I believe in a community-based model that gives people the direction, tools, and support they need to reclaim their wellness—because no one should have to walk this journey alone.

We are in this wellness journey together.

Warmest regards,
